The Department is abuzz with excitement as preparations for the first ever autonomous robotic vehicle (ARV) race are drawing to a conclusion. The third year Microcontroller class developed the ARVs in teams for the practical component of the module. The competing ARVs need to autonomously follow a random track, count markers along the way and stop at the end of the track – all in the fastest possible time.
