Doctorate Topic:
The conceptual USA Patent, multi-dimensional spread spectrum modem, was filed in June 2004 http://www.freepatentsonline.com/6744807.html, by the University of Pretoria, South Africa. The aim of my thesis is to implement this on CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semi-conductor), and consider the research gaps (leading to a unique contribution in the field) that emanate from the implementation of the modem for a CMOS process.
