There are currently three clusters owned and managed by the department, Alpha (1&2), Beta (1).

The purpose of the EECE High Performance Computing Centre is to support the EECE's mission of education and research at the University of Pretoria. The clusters of the HPCC are used for various types of simulation by undergraduate project students, postgraduate students and staff.
