The Department EECE FTP server acts as a local repository for numerous free software packages. Most of these packages are included in the standard images deployed in the Computer and Electronic Labs.

The FTP server can be accessed via http://ftp.ee.up.ac.za or ftp://ftp.ee.up.ac.za.
